How to acknowledge our grant

We would be pleased if you would acknowledge our funding for your project in any communication materials you produce, or in press and publicity.

We would prefer to be listed as ‘Army Central Fund’ where the name stands alone, but ‘the Army Central Fund’ in narrative.

Websites

We would welcome acknowledgement of our support on your websites. Please include our logo and a link to our website.

Photography

We are building up a library of photos from the organisations we support to use on our website and on social media. Please share with us any photos you might have of the projects we are supporting. These can include the buildings or facilities we are funding, or the people who are participating in your activities.

If you are happy for us to use your photos on our website and/or on social media, please ensure you have the appropriate consents and then send them to us by email.

Press releases and announcements

If you would like to prepare a press release or announcement about our grant, please contact us by email as we are happy to provide quotes where appropriate. We would expect to approve all press releases or announcements before they are released.

The standard text about us for the ‘Notes to editors’ is:

The Army Central Fund is a grantmaking charity working to improve the wellbeing of serving British Army personnel and their immediate families. Its aim is to deliver a better quality of life for Army communities, both Regular and Reserve, in the UK and overseas. Established in 1948, the Army Central Fund awards around £3m in grants each year to Army units and charitable organisations.
