Grantholders
Supporting strong partnerships
The Army Central Fund works in partnership with grantholders to deliver meaningful, lasting benefit for the serving Army community. We value open, professional relationships and aim to be a supportive, engaged funder throughout the life of a grant.
We also work collaboratively with other funders including the Army Benevolent Fund, Army Sport and the Nuffield Trust for the Forces of the Crown, to understand where opportunities may lie for combining support, and achieving greater impact.

Grantholder information
We want to thank you for the work you do to improve the lives of serving Army personnel and their families. We seek to build strong relationships with our grant holders and make working with us as straightforward as possible.
If you are awarded a grant, we will let you know by telephone or email and then will write to you with a Grant Award Letter which will set out your grant offer and any conditions associated with it. We will also send you our Terms and Conditions for Grant Awards which will include a Grant Acknowledgement which needs to be signed and returned to us as soon as you can.
We will ask you when you need your grant to be paid, and work with you to agree an acceptable date on both sides.
Grant reporting
We ask for an End of Grant Report which sets out clearly how you have used our funding to deliver the outcomes you anticipated. If project delivery is over a longer time frame than six months, we ask for short progress reports at key milestones. We are keen to understand how your project is progressing and support you with any unforeseen hurdles.
We are currently reviewing our grant reporting template to make sure it complements the work we have been doing with Bean Research to evaluate the impact our funding has achieved since 2023. We will share the template with you when you need to report on your funded project.
Publicity
We would be pleased if you would acknowledge our funding for your project, and there is more information available through the link below.
